Shaun Cornish

Mr. Cornish holds a Deep Hope that each of his students would move with freedom, joy, and a living hope as they see and interact with God and each other in new and powerful ways

Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies: Briercrest; Bachelor of Education/Kinesiology - University of Saskatchewan.

Grades 7-12 ELA, Grades 9-12 Phys Ed, Art and Broadcast Media.

Mr. Cornish began teaching at Westpark School in 2008 and he loves providing and setting up opportunities for students to face learning challenges. He enjoys seeing young people find new things that they enjoy doing and using the unique gifts that they have been given. Shaun loves seeing something click in a student's mind in terms of learning or enjoyment of a new activity, and he enjoys being a part of each student’s journey and seeing their growth over their time at Westpark.

Mr. Cornish holds a Deep Hope that each of his students would move with freedom, joy, and a living hope as they see and interact with God and each other in new and powerful ways. In the classroom, he strives to provide challenging and unique opportunities for his students to try out new skills, and to learn a good balance of work and play in Phys. Ed! Shaun and his wife Linda have two daughters who he enjoys spending time outside of school with. In his free time, Mr. Cornish plays rec sports (volleyball, badminton, baseball), and enjoys woodworking and playing guitar.
